Biography

Isao Tanaka's elite military career in the JSDF Special Forces was cut short by an injury sustained during a classified operation where he witnessed a supernatural incident. Disillusioned, he was recruited by the Yakuza. His life changed in 1982 when he was left for dead during a clan conflict and subsequently saved by Utagawa Hikaru. In return for his life, he pledged his service to her, trading the Yakuza's code for a new, more profound purpose. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1992 to establish the security infrastructure for the Kage no Tsuru's new base of operations.
