Biography

Born in the late 15th century, Hikaru was a concubine murdered by a rival. Reborn as a kikon-jin, she was trained at Hida Kokubunji Temple. Over centuries, she rose to lead the Kagezuru-mon. In 1980, she made the pragmatic choice to assassinate Sakura's biological mother, Konae Kinuyo, to protect Shoji, and adopted the hantsuki infant. In 1993, after Shoji's fall into Karishi, she fled Japan for Los Angeles to protect her family.
